Reimagining Australian Fashion Week for a new era through bold design, content and digital experiences

THE CHALLENGE

The Australian Fashion Council stepped up to host Australian Fashion Week with a vision: to reimagine AFW as an industry-led platform and re-establish the event as a standout moment on the global fashion week circuit.

To bring this vision to life we had to build everything from the ground up, developing the brand identity and every touchpoint ahead of the event.

Bashful Group have been engaged to rebrand and relaunch AFW, with scope including brand and creative strategy, identity and design, social media, digital experience and event production.

THE SOLUTION

We developed a bold new brand positioning and visual language to position Australian Fashion Week as a global platform, showcasing Australia’s most exciting established and emerging designers.

Our fresh, optimistic creative brand world reflects the distinctive design language of Australian fashion. As we roll out the campaign and content in the lead-up to the May event, we’re continuing to bring to life a digital-first, immersive brand experience, designed to inspire and engage international consumers and industry.
