THE CHALLENGE
Bankstown Sports Club were repurposing an existing restaurant space to launch a new premium steakhouse. The concept was to attract a more discerning audience, so needed a cohesive identity and placemaking strategy that would establish a brand distinct from the Club. With an existing vintage train carriage installation, we were challenged to nod to retro dining experiences while still feeling contemporary.
THE SOLUTION
We concepted a new name, elevated design system and tactile placemaking elements to bring the space to life. Inspired by the opulence of vintage New York steakhouses, Marrow & Co’s identity blends retro glamour with a modern edge - including injections of bold colour and sharp graphic design.With a focus on transportive placemaking, we went beyond brand guidelines to influence textiles, decor, zoning and in-venue activations, adding warmth, intimacy and atmosphere throughout the space. We continue to provide social content and brand storytelling support to build Marrow & Co as a distinct, standalone brand.
